The most beautiful days don’t always need to be complicated. For Gabe and Madison, their June wedding at Marlsgate was simply about being surrounded by their people—the friends who have been there since their college sweethearts days, the family who watched their story unfold, and the love that brought everyone together.
Set against one of Marlsgate’s most beautiful (and humid!) summer days, their celebration was filled with soft greens, creamy whites, and the kind of thoughtful details that made the entire day feel unmistakably theirs.
One of my favorite details was Madison’s engagement ring—a stunning sapphire nestled perfectly into a half-bezel setting, designed by Gabe himself. He spent months working toward something he felt was just right, reworking the ring again and again until it felt perfect enough for his bride. In fact, he even moved the proposal because the ring wasn’t quite there yet. That kind of intention says so much about the love behind their story.
The original Marlsgate home created the most beautiful backdrop for their ceremony, while the celebration continued in the property’s grand new hall overlooking the river. As the sun began to set, a live band filled the room, their favorite people filled the dance floor, and homemade peach cobbler—made by the owner herself—brought the sweetest ending to an already unforgettable day.
